I finally installed the fiberglass trunk lid. Take a look at the pictures. Do you think I need two more Dzus fasteners in the corners?
It is pretty sturdy just the way it is. I do not want to go overkill on fasteners.
What do you guys think?

You talking about the upper corners? I agree with you and wouldn't want to go nuts with too many. It "looks" great as it is. It'd be easier to add them later than to delete them once it's painted.

Triplets?! And red-heads to boot?! All the power to you, brother! Yer gonna need it. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Thanks Joe. Yes, I am talking about the upper corners. I am leaning toward leaving it "as is".
The triplets are the joy of my life :D and like to "help" when I am in the garage! graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Looks cool. How well is the fitment compared to a metal lid? Do they make a glass lid that can bolt to the old hinges?

Yes the fit is great. This lid was from Glasstech. They manufactured it just a shade too big in both directions. I sanded on the edges with some course grit sandpaper mounted on an 18" sanding board to obtain the fit I was after. I think if I had been a bit more patient, it could have turned out better, but I am happy with it. They do produce a bolt on version that fits stock hinges too(I think).
