i dont think ive read anywhere, discribing replacing the 1/4's the way we are doing it...we are going to dry fit both 1/4 panels and the tail panel all 3 togather on the car, then we are going to get all the aligning on the money with our ULTIMATE jig, then spot weld all 3 togather, then remove all 3 as one unit, so we can get into the flange's near the outer sides of the tail lights, then slide everything on all at the same time..has anybody done it this way? and is there anything we should look out for doing it this way?

You may run into trouble getting it over the wheel houses and under the roof

You may run into trouble getting it over the wheel houses and under the roofwell, he wants to replace the roof panel, and i dont want to get into the roof section yet, so he said it will be tricky to do it this way with the roof panel on, but why might the wheel houses be a problem?

You will have to "spread" the 1/4s to get them over the wheel houses, may or may not be a pain to get them back into place, without bending something. Especially if you weld the rear window filler to the 1/4s

Especially if you weld the rear window filler to the 1/4sno the filler panel will go on after the 1/4's are done...ill be sure to take pic's incase anybody wants to know how it went.
