How about putting the CID of the motor on the side of the car like the first gens? I know the little 6's would not have this, but as your engine package improves do usually does the amount of badging. I think "350" would look alot better on the side that "5.7"

I think he's saying he wants to put the CID badging on newer cars instead of the liter displacement. Was hard to read until I read it like 4 times.

I think this would be a cool nod to nostalgia - but I also think it would never happen..... I can't even remember when the OEM's stopped using cu-in's for badging (late 70's - early 80's ??)

Last one I remember was the formula 350 for a car and the Chevy Trucks in the 90's had the CID's on the side ss454?

4.8 liter is 294 cid
5.3 liter is 327 cid
6.0 liter (LS2) is 364 cid
7.0 liter (LS7) is 427 cid.

We no longer make the 5.7 liter. That is a Chevrolet engine. Today, all our engines are developed by GM Powertrain.
