dave_letu Apr 15th, 06, 05:52 PM I recently acqired an '04 Cobra IRS and am thinking of putting it under my '67 firebird (please forgive me for not owning a camaro, yet). I've heard good things about the cobra set-up but don't know if this is the best choice with respect to cost, ease of installation, and over-all fit. '67 Firebird Conv't with 400ci/435hp motor, daily driver with occasional trips down the 1/4 mile. i'm looking for better handling on the street while still launching nicely at the strip. pdq67 Apr 16th, 06, 12:20 PM Our rearend set-up is better for the quarter mile, but not QUITE as good as an IRS in the twisties! I don't know what that pumpkin is, but I do know FOMOCO did make 9" pumpkin IRS's through the years so I would hunt onna them up just for gear choices and strength. pdq67 | ||
