Do ralley wheels fall into the same "date that preceeds the cars build date" category as any other part? Is 6-8 weeks too much?

I would think there is a lot less info out there on ralley wheels because so many cars lost them early. The only one that survived on mine was a May date code on an 08A of 69 built car.

That's a May wheel. What is the day code on the other side of the valve stem?

one has K-1-9-5 and the other is K-1-9-1 with YJ being on the other side of the valve stem. The rears are AZ 15x8's so '69 Vette wheels but I bought 2 other YJ's but they are buried in the garage right now.

Gary , I am the secomd owner of my Van Nuys Z and the guy never changed out the wheels..mine are K-1-9 1 on 03D build...so the wheels are January.

I think for Rally wheels, the 6 month rules applies :D I have 1 original wheel from my 05A LOS car, its dated early march.

I believe I have the original wheels for my "68". All 5 are XG coded with a date stamp of K18 6 21. That puts them about a month before the 07D build date. Hope this helps, RonM.

My 69 Z was built March 17 in Van Nuys and all 4 wheels are K-1-9-1 28 YH.

All four of my wheels are K191 20 YH (January 20th, '69) 02C Van Nuys Z.
I feel confident they are all original.
Haven't checked my spare yet but I'm guessing it's the same.
