I grounded the MSD box to the fender and the power to the battery. The acc power wire to the box fronm the fuse box terminal IGN. How can I get rid if it? What would cause it?

fender isnt a good ground btw.
ground strap from engine to frame- frame to body.
body is isolated from frame so youll need a ground there.
you can also get a noise suppression cap from MSD.

Could I just run the wire to the ground on the battery? It's closer. What is a noise suppression cap?
EDIT... I ran the ground to the battery, no change. The battery is grounded to the motor and fender. I looked on MSD's website and didn't see the cap you were talking about?

go here for full details.
no youll need ground straps as stated above for proper operation on you electrical system. not only for MSD ignition.
