OK after looking closer the engine stamp on the block reads 77N193958 followed by T1102HJ but the T1102HJ is not in a line but looks as if it was individually stamped. Could this be correct or is it possible that this was re-stamped? Help!

I would find it hard to believe that someone would restamp an engine to make it a 327ci-250hp with powerglide for 68, or a 350-250hp TBH400 for 69.

But anything is possible, so to be sure I would have to see a picture - got one?
Please remove any paint from the pad.
What year is your car? Double-check your partial vin - something is not right.

Supposedly it's a 67 Camaro 327 w/powerglide and the #'s on the rearend are PA0316G located on the passenger side axel shaft and on the same side pumpkin flange 3894859. Again the only question is the T1102HJ # and what the HJ represents? However I would like to know what the rear end is too!

I don't show the HJ suffix being used in 67. But anythything is possible.
Can I see a picture of the stamp pad?

Jeff, is it possible because of the date code on the engine that it was replaced under warranty? The car was built in March of 67 and the engine in November which would be the 68 327/250 motor for 1968? If it was done by the factory that would explain the partial vin and the 68 date and suffix, no , maybe?

That explains everything.
It is a restamped block. No other possibility exists. Sorry.
If it was a dealer replacement, it would be a "CE" stamped block.
Looks like someone found a block that "looked close" and stamped your VIN# on it.

On the bright side it's not a big money car - doesn't hurt the value all that much
