Just had installed baer brakes (12 inch) on my rear moser 12 bolt. Problem is my emergency brake cable cannot be installed because the traction bar is in the way on my driver side. Do I forget the emergency brake or look at the slide-a-link set up instead of traction bars? Any input would be appreciated.

I would not forget the emergency brake. Do what it takes to get it working. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Even though it's an automatic I was thinking the same. Pretty sure the slide-a-links will work. I have the Hotchkis kit as well so I need to check and make sure they will fit.

I ran my Baer brakes with Slide-a-links and it worked fine. Just clock the location to fit.

Does anyone know if this problem occurs with Caltracs?
