Hi all,

Just recently picked up the tranny core and all the goodies for the build ... The trans is a 200-4R (Auto w/ OD) which is going to be attached to a blown 383 ...

I'm going with a 9.5" Converter (Non-Lockup) but I'm not sure of what stall speed to go with... I'm thinking of either 3600 or 4000 ... this will be with a rear gearing of 4.11 ... It's my understanding that the blower will actually make the 3600 or 4000 stall actually stall a little higher ...

How much difference is there b/n the 3600 & 4000 stall speeds and how do they perform on the street as well as at the track? I've never had a performance based automatic before so I'm still learning here... Give me some examples of stock stall vs. aftermarket, such as cruise rpm's & lauch, etc.......

Thanks,
TIM
