This very active post has come to a great conclusion with a new understanding between the groups involved.

As such, a number of comments and details have been requested to be taken out of the thread. Names and details were mentioned that perhaps were best left out.

With so many pages of info, the editing to meet these requests simply confuses the heck out of the original topic so we moved it to our "holding" area for followup.

I rarely remove any posts over two pages and especially one with so many views (over 5000) but in the case of this topic and one other, (1st Gen Camaros at Spring Chevy/Vettefest) there appears to be no other way to handle it.

It is my hope this explanation will help explain why the post is no longer here.

copoloco.... I saw the post by one of the guys on SYC who is very active with 10,000+ posts saying " count me out on the peace thing" . I would suggest just sending Tom an email and in a diplomatic way ask him if he could correct or include or modify the posting on the SYC web site if you really think it needs it. I will say that I was kind of bummed to see that response from one of the SYC guys but it was cool to see posts from a lot of them that seem to be happy to end this...I would also say ," don't let one guy derail this thing" .

CT...I am a moderator on our site...Just for the record this is what Tom has asked and I will help carry out on our SITE. It's up to the other website Moderators to do their thing with it. My personal thoughts are not affected by this agreement. Hope this clarifies my post for you.

""an agreement has been reached where members of each side leave the other side alone, not only on here, but on all websites. This includes, but is not limited to, no mention of the other one's website, no rebuttals to posts made by opposing members, no comments about opposing members cars.

I am instructing our moderators to enforce this on our site, ""
