I've got a problem with gas coming out the vent tube and flooding the carb, or the carb is flooding and by the time i pop the hood it is coming out the vent tube. It almost seems that the gas is boiling out. We put in a spacer, new needles and seats, and made sure there was enough space above the vent tube but still have the problem. I'm running a HolleyCar idles fine, it happens more after excelerating then lifting up off the pedal. This is a ZZ502/502 with a Holley 850 that came with the motor. Car drove fine for 8 months before this started. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like you got junk in one of the needle seats keeping it open.
