: Floor pan measurements

Well all I can say is oops. I had my lap top stolen that had all of my pictures with the reference measurements for my floor pan install. It is a full pan which makes it easier but I would still feel much better being able to verify that everything is in the correct location. I was thinking I had seen a drawing that had all sorts of cross measurements of the interior and was hoping someone knew about this. My car is a 1967.

Thanks
Jerry

The Camaro subframe is Section 2 of the Chassis Service manual. Frame 2-4. Wish they had one like that Firebird drawing. I thought I'd seen one for the Camaro before....

Is this better? The Firebird and Camaro are the same of course. Just different books. http://webpages.charter.net/k30ssrs/Reference%20pictures/DSC02153.JPG

Right, but I thought I'd seen one with the cross-measurements with the rear frame rails as well. Maybe I'm mistaken.

Joe, isn't that pic I posted above what you are talking about? Cept for a Firechicken? The rear frame rail measurements are there too.

Right, right.... but I could have sworn that I saw one like it in one of the Camaro manuals. I just poured through both of them and didn't see it.
Maybe I've been at this too long.

Yo scot
I used that same blueprint when I checked my rear frame rail alignment, got to watch that "I" mesurement from the referance hole to the rear shackel support, that mesurement is holding the mesureing device horizontal if you do a direct hole to support mesurement it is longer. Made me scratch my head for a few moments. :D

hehehe, yah, if your strings aren't lined up vertical, like the ones I was using, it surely will throw you off.
