gone over this before, but maybe has someone has some new ideas....

my 69 RS has the 396/375 w/console guages Tach(my car was orginally a RS V-8 Van Nuys car, no stinking codes), now with a well-worked 350[383]), so it's probably aftermarket. It's a TH350, so no big rush, but it annoys me it isn't working...the tach wire is connected to the coil. I pulled the tach out out and can't see that anything is disconnected, but only one main thing is attached to it anyway so there isn't much to be disconnected anyway.

I know the OER RS headlight switches are problematic, are the OER tach's also troublesome?

my oer tach has been fine, exceot for needing a filter to work properly with my electronic ignition, course my 68 tach is a bit different than yours.

The tach should have 3 connections. Ground, ignition switch power, and the coil signal whiuch should be connected to the negative side of the coil.

alright, maybe my memory is sketchy, I'll pull it out again and check it out...again.
