We are trying to fix up an 86 Z28 that sat in a field for 5 years so we have major issues to say the least.

We got it up and running, and she ran pretty well for a couple of weeks, and now we are having some troubles...

The car has a full tank of gas, but hesitates and acts like she is going to stall when we hit the gas pedal...if we pull over, turn the car off, then wait a while, then start her back up she will go just fine for awhile, then we repeat...I have seen a fuel pump relay as a possible culprit...any other ideas?

Fuel filters clogged, tank sock clogged , bad gas( rust-water) bad gas cap and maybe all of the above .
