I just bought a 96 v6 about a week ago so i am pretty new to the camaro family. when i got the car it was running really rough, misfiring and it had a hard time idiling. i took it to a local shop that my friend works at he replaced the plugs, wires and checked the diagnostics. The idle problem is fixed and it is not misfiring anymore but it still has some hesitation when i step on it to get on freeway or on long strips. any ideas as to what could be causing this.

could it be the fuel filter and injectors. I was thinking about trying a fuel system cleaner. good or bad idea?

Fuel injector cleaner is the best first step. Put in a couple of cans, at least........
