HI All, I have a Street Avenger 670 Vac secondary carb from holley. My question is when ordering parts I am trying to figure out what "Style" it is. Seems like most parts are for a 4150 or 4160 or a 4500 series.

Anyway, anyone know what Series this carb would fall under when ordering parts?

Thanks

Its a 4150 style, the 4160 has the square style float bowls with a single fuel inlet, the 4150 has the upside-down "V" shape to the front with a dual fuel inlet.

Hmmmm - the difference between a 4150 and a 4160 is the use of a Secondary Metering Block, not the float style...
Either style float, Center Pivot or Side Hung, can be used on either carb.
4150's have a Secondary Metering Block
4160's have a Secondary Metering Plate

Hope this helps...

Cool..so just to confirm 4150 parts should get the job done?

Thanks Again

OK, looked it up and you are right about the metering block. But you will not typically see the square float bowls on a 4150.

I'll remember the snotty reply when you make a mistake some time ;)

Eric:
Sorry the reply came across as "snotty" - that was never my intention :o
I was just trying to inject a little humor with the 'hmmmm' thingy... it's b1tch to get that to transfer through the keyboard sometimes.
Just to post a 'that's not right, this is' type of reply would seem to me to be snotty - it happens to me all the time and I still don't take it that way, because i don't think that's the intention of others replies.
I really meant only to correct the information, not to embarass you (or anyone in any reply) just to make sure it's there for future searches on the subject.
You've got a 10-sec. car so obviously know something about carburetion.
You're also right about the center-pivot float bowls as being the most common on those carb.s now. Only a few truck and marine duty 4150 carb. applications ( all Vac. secondaries) , that I know of :o , still come with the side-hung type bowls.

ps: I'm wrong and make mistakes all the time, just ask my wife...
