Gentlemen,

Going to look at a distributor. Is 1111169 the correct number for a 396 325-350 hp body assembled early august 69, engine assembled mid June 1969. The distributor date is 7F14. Don't have my books with me at work and need to leave from here. Thanks for any help.

Nope - that's a '67~68 BB number.
The 69 396/325 & 350 had 3~4 different numbers depending on hoursepower and trans.
Numbers start @ 1111497 and go to 1111499 - there may be others, I don't have a full list here with me.

If the price is right, buy it a resell it on here to someone - I'm sure you'd have takers ;)

btw - that would be a very late date for the engine assembly date you give - don't think it would happen...

:o I think I should type what I'm thinking and think about what I'm typing... ;)
My fingers rushed ahead and wrote that while I wasn't looking - I meant to say - that engine would be a very late date to have that distributor assembly...
The date code is 7F14 = 1967, June 14th - pretty early for an engine assembled that much later... or something like that :D

Next time I should try something simple like - that date is wrong - then my fingers hopefully won't get confused, then rush off and confuse everyone... bad fingers :)
