The instructions on my Holley 750 DP says tighten the fuel bowl screws/nuts to 25-30 lbs? Mine are not even close and once they are snug, it feels like I am tightening forever. I dont want to tighten anymore for feel of a ping and strip. Is this correct? Should I keep tightening? Im not even to 15 lbs yet.

INCH pounds not foot pounds.

There is a big difference from inch lbs. to ft. lbs. I forgot how to convert, but you really only need to get the screws a little past hand tight with a screw driver. I wouldn't even pay attention to the specs. Just tighten the screws down evenly without over doing it.

To convert foot pounds to inch pounds, multiply by 12.
To convert inch pounds to foot pounds, divide by 12.
