What is the engine in it??? Surely not a HOPPED UP 3-banger.........

I have an old mag in my many boxes that has a story in it about a 1988 or so Chevy Sprint/Metro Hatch car that somebody put a 350 and TH350 in.

Seems he had to make everything in the frontend b/c stock with the engine removed, it was way too narrow for the 350 to fit..

And the rearend was only like 30" wide or so????

All in all, quite a decent conversion to me..........

And btw, a SB WILL fit in a Chevette!!

Unless I read it wrong it said it had a turbo charged 6 cylinder with NOS.

Pretty impressive huh?
