Engine is out right now; is this easier to install without engine or does it really matter.. Just curious cause I'm ready to install engine but a/c won't be in for a couple of weeks.

Thanks in advance, Joe.

It will be easier to install without the engine, but not impossible.
I think you may need the passenger fender removed for the heater box cover swap.

Get on to VintageAir.com and I'm pretty sure you can download an instruction/installation manual.. That will give you a pretty good idea.

Can it be done without pulling the fender... I already pulled the box off the firewall.

Thanks, Joe

Engine out would make no difference, actually would be easier to set the plastic filler panel in place (silicon in place) with the passenger fender off but even that isn't a big deal at all. I installed my Vintage Air from start to finish and didn't find the Engine or really the fender to be in the way.

use the Classicautoair.
And fenderwell out.
The engine is not in the way of any of the process.
