Good evening folks, I'm about ready to order interior kit..Does anyone have any experience with D&R kits for a '67 coupe with deluxe? They seem to have a few things extra that Classic Industries does not. Looking for the most bang for my buck. Thanks

The standard soft trim D&R sells is PUI. If you do a search for PUI, you'll learn a lot. I haven't read much about 67 stuff, maybe they fit good. Best bet with 68-69 is unassembled panels.
Not positive where D&R's metal parts come from, most are in a box with only thier label, some are oer. My outside door handles did not fit, as in needed to apply a grinder to them to get them in the hole. The inside window cranks fall off constantly (the originals didn't.)
All of the small stuff was fine to nice, knobs, bezels, dash stuff, door adjust and release knobs, etc.
The whole interior on my 68 standard is new from D&R over the past year.

JIMM this might be a stupid question but did you maybe forget to put the c-clamps on your window cranks? I'm not trying to be stupid, I'm just saying that because I forgot and they kept fallin off. Then one day I found the clamps and realized my mishap :clonk:

I tried the originals.... the ones D&R sells, and the ones off the help rack at napa... the handles still fall off, except for the drivers winder and both door handles.
he pass rear window falls off all by itself without touching it!

If it keeps falling off, you missed the C-Clip. The door handles must be pressed hard against the panels sometimes in order for all of it to line up.

Don't feel bad JimM. My passenger door and window handles fall of when I use them. At first I thought maybe I left them off but, I had to replace the stock ones when I misplaced them with some of the HELP ones. Then I thought maybe I reinstalled them wrong so I uninstalled them and reinstalled them several times over that summer, and they still fall off.
Anyway Bob to answer your question Over all I've had very good experiences with D&R, but I haves used there Door panels specifically.

What I have found with D&R is the quality is not always the best. Ricks, and year one are my Favorites. Tamaraz and parts place could walk in front of a shot gun blast. Tried buying a water pump deep grove pulley recently from parts place they had in the showcase . The pulley was marked 30 dollars so I said I wanted it . They told me it is not for sale.
