a number of years ago I changed over the AC on my 73 Z28 to 134. when I did so, I eliminated the valve setup by the evaporator & used a evaporator & drier for a 78 trans am. It's been blowing cold for a few years, but now that I've opened it up,( to make room during the engine swap) I can't remember what THE LOW/HIGH SIDE PRESSURE should be. Has Anyone refilled the freon in a 134 f-body? Thanks for any Info

Hi, I've got my 87 Camaro A/C running between 18 to 23 psi at a mechanic friend's recommendation...it cools very well even in 90 deg plus days.

Stock R12 is 48 oz
48 x .8 = 38.4

so evac and charge with 38 oz of R134a
