I have a 67RS that I am having a problem aliging the Front valance panel. I have looked the front end over and I cannot figure out how to move the lower valance panel 1/4+ to the left.The problem surfaced when I replaced the motors in the headlight doors on the car. When finished I noticed that the door on the right (passenger side) hit the grill when it opened. I also noticed that the grill was cracked and looked to be out of alignment. The rest of the front end seems to be ok. the gaps at the hood seem right all the way around as do all the other front-end gaps. since the valance mounts to the lower edge of the front fenders I know I will have to move the fenders over by 1/4 inch at the bottom but what I am not sure of is how to do that. Can anyone out there address this? I know that the valance is out of alignment because I hung a plumb bob over the front end at the center of the header panel. Following it down to the valance panel clearly showed the center of the valance to be to the passenger side of the center of the header panel by at least 1/4 inch. As an update to my orginal posting I measured everything closer and found that the lower valance panel is 3/8 on an inch off to the passenger side.
