Send them out to get Jet Hot. Best.

Try POR-20 high temp coating. No experience for you there.

Try Eastwood's High temp coatings. They come in four tasty flavors. I'm going to try that on mine when I get around to that part of my project.

Only thing that sucks, though, is the insides of the primaries probably still have carbon in them. Nothing is going to stick to that.

I used the eastwood high temp paint, and baked it on, as per the directions. my exhaust manifolds rusted anyway.
Engine only has 30 minutes on it! I'm going to take them off and jet hot coat.

jet hot is obviously the best, but i used vht "nu-cast" exhaust paint on my old headers, and the stuff looks as good as the day i applied it (only now they are sitting in a box), maybe just slighty changed color after first couple of drives. my uncle used it on his shorty headers on his blown model A, with the same results. it's cheap and seems to work well.

I used some BBQ paint on a set of long tubs I had. Had them on my car for a year and is barely faded.

Use SP-118 VHT Flamerproof primer then the VHT SP-102 Flat Black. Note the use of SP-102 Flat, it withstands up to 1500 degrees!

I've used the BBQ grill paint. It's flat black and costs around $8... not GM "correct" but it worked great.
