hello all, new member here and glad i found this forum

i have a 69 camaro, and the stock seats really, really suck. rather than have these seats re-upholstered, which would be a waste of money, i want to put in some new/more modern comfortable seats. does anyone know what seats from any newer style car (sports type car) that may bolt in with a minimum of fabrication? can gen 2 seats bolt right in?

my car is pretty hotrodded out, but i am toning it down a bit and going to more of a pro-touring theme, emphasis on touring. i was thinking of going to the boneyard, finding some import car like a supra, zx, or anything really. and taking the seats if possible,,,,anyone here done something like that? if not,,has anyone bought aftermarket seats that are more comfy than racey? appreciate any input.

i know alot of people are doing the 4th gen camaro trans am seats and i hear they fit right in with minimal fab work i was considering them for mine since i have the 4th gen console....but we dont have any in the bone yards and to get a used set shipped to me would cost about 500....and i found some nice looking seats that others have put in there cars with minimal work also they are cheaper in price and new.... i am leaning either toward the summit or jegs sport seats....both have a racy but comfy look and you can get a set for about 450 shipped.....another company that makes some sweet seats are www.arizenracingsports.com they sell seats seat belts ad the brakets and they are very reaonablly priced at about 450 for the set......also look at the procar rally 2000 these have been used alot also.
