When I bought my 327 car, the front end was replaced and it had a later GM grill (black) on it. There is an install date of 1983 on it (gm was still selling the grills then). Since I am getting the body done and having the original Hugger Orange put back on I was going to paint the center section silver (which it should be). I have since bought (what I think is an) original correct silver grill (molded in gray!)

My problem is I had planned to install the optional headlight washers in the grill, but the black grill has the holes but the silver grill does not!

Should I just drill the holes?

Do the repros (black or silver) have the washer holes?
