Ive talked about how i found this z28 camaro in dry storage but ive been lookin at the pics ive takin and the stripe on the decklid doesnt move around the Camaro emblem. It just goes straight under it. I read in my book that the stripe should manuver(spelling) around the emblem.

If the spoiler was dealer installed, the Camaro emblem was relocated, and did not get the "cut-around" treatment. However, if this is the case, the stripes should not end at the rear edge of the spoiler and will run down onto the rear edge of the trunk lid. If you remove the spoiler, the cut-around should be visible where the emblem was originally located, otherwise at least that part of the car has been repainted.
