I noticed my spark plug wire at the boot is arcing with the header. I readjusted the boot and it seemed to solve the problem. Taylor wire with less than 50 hrs run time. Should I replace the wires?

Could be a leaking boot.
If running msd with high volyage, they will be prone to leaking if to close to and earth.
Another thing that can cause boot leak is that the HT clip may not be attached firmly to the plug inside the boot.
Remove any lubicant used to slide the boots on with a damp rag with a little thinners on...slide the boot up the wire, and down a few times cleaning each time.
Remember...HT leads are delicate...the most common fault of HT leak is abuse of the leads. So often I have seen HT leads damages by pulling on the lead.
I use Top Gun, had a good run for 20 odd yrs out of a set and still going
There are threads here where ppl have trouble with particular brands...personally I believe most of these problems may stem from abuse if they are of reputable brand/quality.
It only take one pull of a lead to kill it.
I prefer to make up my own, directly of a coil. I discard the 1st meter of the coil if purchasing a length in a shop.
I can see the end of the ht lead being simply pulled from the end for the last purchaser and/or un raveled and twisted...instead of the coil being un wound to get the length

Did you reuse the old boots? If you feel that there might be a problem, just replace the boots. The wires should be okay.
