The farther I tear my camaro apart the more things I notice!! I noticed two little phillips head screws on the bottom of the pillar drip edge after taking off the window molding and the stainless steel trim. Does that piece come off?? It would sure make for easier sanding and preping of the exterior roof pillar. And if so, how would you redo the sealer in that tiny space between the pillar and the re-installed piece? Has anyone done this?? Thanks guys!!

Yes it does come off with the two small phillips screws and them gentle pry it away from the upper rail and it will come down. You will need to free it from the small corner clip as well. It does make it alot easier.

Yes it will come off by prying it down gently. You will need to remove it from the small corner clip as well. Be careful but it will come off, there is seam sealer or something between it and the roof rail.
