I recently changed all my brake lines, MC, rotors, calipers, etc..
Heres the deal, when I pulled off the mc there was no rod. or at least I didn't see it.. Is this possible? or did it just fall out and land into the vortex below..
I had been using the car for years before it was pulled apart with no braking problems.
Thanks, Joe

Pedel is not connected to the MC

I take it you have Manual disc brakes.....The push rod is held in by the boot on the end of the M/C. It connects to the brake pedal. It fell through the hole in the firewall. Just reinsert it through the firewall hole and through the boot at the end of the Master.

Just went out and pulled the mc off to check and noticed the rod is there but it seems to be part of the booster.. Tried to pull it out but it would not budge..

I think power brake MC's are screwed in... but i could be mistaken. Mine is screwed in with a threaded rod. To remove the plunger, you need to remove it first from the brake pedal arm. It's just a small cotter pin and the pin just comes out.

With the two boosters I have had both rods just slid into the booster. There was an O ring on the end that went into the booster.

This one is def. a screw in type.. There are threads on the rod..
Just completed rear disc conversion, ss fuel and complete brake lines.
