Hi...
I am converting a 350 auto trans to a 4 speed in a small block 350.
I found a used cast iron flywheel at a swap meet that looks in good condition & I bought it really cheap.
Is there a minimum thickness before a flywheel is scrap?
Thanks...Tom

If it turns blue after a week, its probally too thin !
If the clutch bolts bottom out befor the pressure is tight, its probaly too thin.
If the pressure plate hits the fly wheel to crank bolts, its probaly too thin!

Sorry Tom, listening to Jeff Foxworthy, I got carried away, I never heard of a spec for the fly wheel, never really had a concern, might be a good idea to have it resurfaced befor putting it all together.

Do watch out for the clutch springs hitting the flywheel bolts. I had to pull mine back apart for this.
