looking at all the posts for new guages...what is the easiest way to upgrade a 69 camaro to all nice new guages,,,is there an easy way,,,
concerns,,,putting in a wiring upgrade from painless for my camaro,,,then going through the hassle of rewiring in a new guage console.....also,,,what is the easiest wiring kit to rewire a 69? thanks

are you talking about factory gauges or some aftermarket gauges....with my 4 hole autometer pod i did all the wiring into the existing harness very easy i dont think you need a kit to wire up the gauges....the autometer pod houses 4 2 1/16 gauges into the stock 68 69 console

I went with the pod too, can't wait to get to the point of installing and wiring! I'm still doing metal work :-\. Anyway the pod looks nice and I wanted to keep my original speedo and fuel gauge.

BTW What gauges did you use? I have the water temp, oil pressure, and voltage, but i need one more, Id rather not have to use a clock but might end up going with it anyway. Just curious as to what you used.

well i used the pod for about a month and loved it i had the same gauges as you but what i am doing is putting 5" autometer ultralites in the stock dash speedo and tach and relocating the fuel to a 2 1/16s but i then sold the pod and am using a 4th gen console now...i am fabbing up a custom pod to house my gauges to blend the 4th gen console to the 69 dash..almost identicle to the one in the year one 69 camaro..it is almost done and looks sweet...
