I did a search and couldnt really come up with with something solid. Ok I was wondering if anybody has completed or is working on making 5 autometer tach and speedo working in the stock 69 dash. I dont want that aftermarket ugly dash since i have console gauges already. Any advise would be great thanks guys. Joey

yes it has been done and i am in the process of doing it ...here is a pic i have i have talked to the guy and he said it is very easy...you have to ditch the lense cover and the dummy lights....i am i have all electric gauges so dummy lights isnt an ussue and i will replcae the other lights with leds which i have from dse.....blinkers...and brights.....he said the braket is pretty easy to make and then just attach it to the dash and cut the hole for the guages...here is a pic

Just a couple of other thought for you - DSE makes a blank brushed aluminum dash, that you can bolt up to the original 69 dash and mount our own gauges in the dash. It's a real nice piece. Or
I am going to put a complete 4th generation dash in my 69. Dash, center console and at least front seats. Then instead of the gauage cluster from the 4th gen dash, LS1SPEED now has a plate that is precut for autometer gauges that screws right into the old gauge cluster area. Obviously this is fairly radical. but I really like the look. Just my .02 cents
