i cant figure out how to remove my shifter knob on my 83 camaro. i'v tried to pull it off twist it wont come off, it'll turn but wont pop off. any ideas i wouldn't mind picking up a shifter but kinda tight ATM.

I am going to guess that you have an automatic. Pull the button out of the center of it and you will see a c-clip that you need to take off to release the knob. It does take a bit to get the button out.
