Hi guys. I usually find what I'm looking for via the old posts and threads but no luck this time. Fortunate or not I've just bought a rear folding seat for my 67 SS/RS with deluxe interior and plan on doing the conversion from the non folding counterpart. Is there any good pics of the required brackets, latches, divider panel etc. that would put me on the fast track for everything that I need, and where they get mounted? I also need the bottom seat to complete the transformation (I bought my car with no back seat) and after reading several posts, I believe what I'm looking for a 67-69 bottom seat that was either deluxe, or came from a convertible. Right?
I love this website! Thanks, Real SS

The bottom seat can be either a 67 deluxe seat, or any 67-69 convertible(standard or deluxe) or fold down bottom(standard or deluxe). These all would be the narrow seat bottom you need. 68-69 deluxe seats were not narrow(unless vert or folddown), only 67.

Here is a pic I sent in a previous thread of the clip that holds the seat in the up position. It is held on with two screws. One on each side clips over the metal tab on the seat back to hold it in place.

Just an addition to Chris note. 67-69 Firebird seats will work too (and might be cheaper!). A deluxe interior in a Firebird was a short seat (with arm rests) like the converts.

Being a Firebird guy with a fold-down seat I can tell you that there were far more Firebirds produced with short seats than Camaros so Kevin is probably right. The rubber bumper is missing from the above photo and it should be noted that unlike other years, the '67 had the latches above on both sides. Those latches and the bumpers are available via reproductions as are the divider, divider gutter and mounting brackets. You should be good to go once you find a short bottom.

Heres a bunch that will fit. 48 inches wide is what you need.

Hammered - My car did not have the bumpers on it. Do they attached to the seat latch with the inside sheet metal screw missing on the latch in my photo?

My car did not have the bumpers on it. Do they attached to the seat latch with the inside sheet metal screw missing on the latch in my photo? The bumpers install over the spring latch which also secures a plastic cover.

Does anyone sell repro plastic covers (escutcheon) for the seat back latch?
