How much do i cut down my drum brake spindle arms? http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=WIL%2D140%2D7675D&N=4294922533+4294822015+4294907050+4294908216+4294 925084+400196+115&autoview=sku I was looking at putting that kit on. And all i would have to do is cut down my drum spindle arms and do some hub work?

I looked at Wilwood a while back, and really liked what I saw and what I was hearing. Plus at the time all they had was there 10.75" rotors. But after hearing mixed reviews on them from people on hear I decided to shy away from them.
Again just my $0.02.

The easiet & Cheapest way to do it is to get a complete setup off a 1969-72 cutlass, chevelle, skylark , lemans. the spindle & the Complete setup are bolt ons. putting discs on drum spindles of course can be done, but by the time you're done it gets expensive.

If you are talking about using drum brake spindles for disc brakes, then check David Pozzi's site for a WEALTH of information. http://www.pozziracing.com/brakes.htm#Converting_Drums_to_Discs

I am not familiar with the modifications needed for the Wilwood kit from Summitt...sorry cant help there.....Jb

The best way to use stock factory type caliper brackets on modified drum spindles is to bolt the caliper bracket snugly to the bottom boss first. Then swing the bracket up (from the rear) until it contacts the upper boss on the spindle.
Mark the boss behind the bracket, where it makes contact. That's where you want to cut the upper boss. Give yourself a 1/16" extra for adjustment if you need to.
Worked for me.
