This car is going together hard. Car did not have any interior in it when I bought it. I ordered a standard interior kit and have a question on the hardware. I found out it originally had deluxe interior. I understand the regulator shaft is going to be a little long but have a question on the door opener. Looking at the catalog, they show different mechanisms and door handles for deluxe and standard. Will the deluxe handle and opener work with standard panels?

For a '68 or '69 - no. The armrest interferes with the inside handle. My '68 came with the deluxe handles and '69 standard door panels, and the armrests and door panels were butchered to allow the handles to work.

I have standard door panels and looking to change to deluxe, maybe a trade of some sorts?
