I'm getting ready to bleed my brakes. I'v purchased a pressure bleeder from Motive . It looks fairly simple. My question is, I have a tilted master cylinder in my Camaro. Does any body have some hints on removing the cap off the master cylinder after bleeding? I know the cylinder will be filled to the top. Seems like there will be one big mess of brake fluid all over the place when you pop the cap. This would not work too well with a fully detailed engine compartment! The instructions say to tilt the bottle and bleed the brakes until the fluid is at the proper level. That would work great on newer cylinders, but not on a solid steel one. Has anybody tried this on a tilted master or am I in for one heck of a mess?

Having recently bled my brakes I can tell you to make sure that you have the adapter clamped down tight on top of the master cylinder and I mean tight. I didn't have to much of a mess when I removed the adapter off of the master, just put plenty of towels under and around the master just in case. Another thing I found with the pressure bleeder was when you think that you have bled the system enough bleed it some more (at least six or seven openings per wheel).
