well i have installed ls1 fronts..right now i have a m/c and booster from a 70's vette...no one is sure if it will work..i recently picked up a booster and m/c from a 2000 z28...i know how to bolt it to the firewall but i am unsure on what to do with the lines....if it involves running and bending all new lines i dont want to go that route...just did it not to long ago...but if i can use my same lines and just get new fittings i want to do that....also what do i do about the rod to the brake pedal? any help here...or would i be better off getting a m/c that everyone knows will work..with a prop valve that everyone knows will work and just sell the 4th gen m/c and booster and my m/c i have now... like i said me along with everyone else with the ls1 brake dont know if my m/c and booster and prop valve will work and i have yet to drive it to find out

The 70's Corvette master isn't going to work - it doesn't have an RPV in the rear outlet for the rear drums. Why not just use the stock '69 disc/drum master cylinder and booster instead of goobering up a bunch of oddball plumbing and mechanical pieces for stuff that wasn't designed to work together?
:beers:

well the vetter m/c and booster has been on my car for a few years and worked great with stock disc/drum...now that i am going ls1 front that is what i need to know about..i would not use my current prop valve i would get a risidual valve or an adjustable prop valve

What is the bore size of the vette master cyl?
What is the bore size of the LS1 caliper?

ok the bore size on the vette on i have is 1 1/8...i dont think it will work so can i jsut get a 1" bore m/c and an adjustable prop valve for the rear and put a t on the front...that way i can use my existing booster and dont have to do aot of work to get teh ls1 stuff to work

It sounds like to me that you need to sit down with a pencil and paper and figure out how much pressure & volume you need to make the brakes work properly. Don't rely on others to tell you might work; if they're wrong, the consequences are pretty big.
