i was wondering why my 89 camaro rs weighs so much more than my 92 25th camaro the 92 came with a 305 and the 89 had a 2.8 they both have air they both have ground effects the only difference that i know are the 2 engine sizes and the 92 has power window my 89 weighed around 3900 stock with 2.8 and the 92 weighed about 3200 stock with the 305

Are the weights you listed from an actual scale or are you going by the figures listed on the registration. The weights listed on the registration can be very far from the actual weight of the car. That is a huge weight difference for very similar cars. I would have bet money the V6 car was lighter. Good thing I am not a gambler.
