Did anybody see the rendering of what the 2008 Camaro Pace Car might look like in the May 2006 issue of Camaro Performers? It's on page 19.

On the door decal they actually spelled Camaro ---> CAMERO.

I just cringed......

Yeah, here is a copy of that rendering. Ben (The artist) cringed as well... the magazine art department made that mistake. He is a member on 5thgen.org

Yeah, I was definitely upset by that one. I called the editors to let them know of their mistake but there was little they could do. It really makes me look stupid but whatcha gonna do? Thanks for sticking up for me Joe, I greatly appreciate it!

I got an "oops, sorry about that". No biggie. At least this magazine spelled my name right. When I won the 2004 Truck Trends Design Contest they totally butchered my last name.

Apparently, for trademark issues regarding the Indianapolis 500, they had to switch that line of text. That's the story I got. Joe (Overanxious) posted the original copy I sent them.

I would have thought they would rather blur it out some instead of spelling Camaro wrong, of all things LOL :D

What I don't understand is how they could spell it wrong when I spelled it correctly above "Official Pace Car". It's right there! DOH!
