I've installed a Covan's Classic instrument panel in my 69 Camaro,I don't have the original what holds the astro vents in place? is there special clamps or can I make it,what do they look like?

There is a piece of metal about a 1/2 inch wide and about 2 and 1/2 long.
it is bowed a little with the top screw from the vents going through the piece of metal. This is what holds the vent in place. Ricks first generation has them and all the other after market dealers.
