Hello everyone...Just joined tonight and already have question...69 Camaro SS and want to lower the front end for better look....have drop spindles 2" and want to know how much you can take off the springs and not have a rubbing or cornering problem....What is the widest tire size that you can use with a lowered car? I don't know too much yet about these cars but I will share any thing that I learn....thanks , augiesdad

These cars don't really like drop spindles, can cause interference problems with tie rods and the wheel etc. Go to David Pozzis web site, it will give you a ton of knowledge about suspensions.

Most folks use shorter coils to lower the car around here. Hotchkiss, DSE, Global West all make good products. I am sure there are other vendors out there.

Do a search and you will find a ton of information on this subject.

Welcome, this the best 1st Gen forum out there.
