I'm trying to replumb my brake system to install a proportioning valve.
I'm looking for the following tube nuts to fit all the correct size openings on the valve, master cylinder, and brake lines. I'm attemping to do this with no adapter fittings if possible. I measured the tube nut diameter to determine the fitting size. Does anybody know where to purchase these fittings? i need the following:
9/16" fitting to 3/16" brake line,
9/16" fitting to 1/4" brake line,
1/2" fitting to 3/16" brake line,
7/16" fitting to 3/16" brake line,
3/8" fitting to 3/16" brake line,

I've gone to parts stores and they tell me that all this has to done with adapters. This seems crazy. I would think that the least amount of fittings would be the way to go on brake systems.

NAPA sometimes has tubing in stock with the correct tube nuts on them.

If not, you can order them online through inlinetube

Thanks,
I found out that classic tube also sells them.

Inline Tube (www.inlinetube.com) also sells them and has good service (I just purchased them). They have a catalog page online with the many different thread sizes for 3/16 and 1/4 tubing. Be careful on ordering because most of the fittings on the master cylinder, proportioning valve and distribution block are odd sizes. I hope this helps.
