I just purchased a used steering column for my 68 camaro. I was hoping to use the top 3 pieces to replace what I have on the car becasue I just converted from a PG ont he column to a 4 speed on the floor. My goal is to use the column on the car and replace the top 3 pieces by the steering wheel with the used one I just purchased.

Does anyone know if there's an easy way to get the pieces off the steering column? I can free up the lowest piece but it won't fit over the bottom part that holds the rag joint. I can't even figure out how to free up the other top 2 pieces.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
