my factory a/c hasnt worked since i got the car..it is very ugly and makes things hard when working on the motor..my car isnt staying the stock look and i would love to have a nice neat and clean firewall..so what you guys think

There are 2 or 3 threads in the last few weeks dissuing this , and how to opitions to do it.

i hate my vintage air it looks tacky. the plastic box on my firewall.

Real simple solution.....Get an A/C delete plate.
I like my factory air, puts out nice cold 32 degree air.

a matter of taste. I would NEVER remove the AC unit from an old musclecar. Somewhere down the road , you'll wish you didn't. you will devalue the heck out of it. If you MUST, save each & every screw that you take off !

You really need to fix the motor if you have to work on it that much.
The OE AC keeps the value up on factory AC cars.
The aftermarket way is good for a non-factory AC car.
