I've used most of the POR products. I'm not sure what part of the add is misleading. I also buy most of mine from the guy running that auction. What is the question.

What is the question.well the main question is whats best to use on bare metal, but the thing missleading about the ad is the picture, at first i thought it was for all 3 items, untill i read it... there must be some people buying it thinking it is all 3, then they just get the spray can, "some people dont read everything"....
and yes i know thats a good store i bought from them before. they didnt have black etching primer in a quart, im just going to get some from por 15 themselves...
unless there is something better...
i want to paint/seal bare metal, and it will need to hold up for about a year, before painting..

I agree that the pictures are somewhat misleading. Reading the add completely is a must.
When I use it on bare metal, I use the Marine Clean, Metal Ready and then coat with the POR. My parts usually "flash" rust before I paint them. I have had some of my parts done for well ovger a year, and no problems so far. Now I won't say that some of my stuff didn't have to be redone, but that was my fault for poor prep work. Since I have learned the system, all of my stuff has turned out great.
