Ok, I need some clarification here......

Has anyone bought & installed one of the new repro boosters with the Delco Moriane stamping?

I have been told that the "Delco Moraine" stamping is incorrect, and in the wrong place.

Is this true???

I'm contemplating geting one because the cost of replating mine is so darn high, I can't see taking it apart and going through the process again.

But I don't want to get something that's not "right"...

Thanks...

I think the remakes have the Delco Moraine right side up. I had mine restored by Jerry MacNeish. Cost was $139.00, looks good and it's original.

Yep,..I have one of the repo's on one of my 69's. The Delco-Maraine stamping is incorrect. But cosmetically, the rest it's correct,..the plating is nice (B+) and it performs like an original.

I recommend rebuilding if you have the original (9204 stampings are pulling big cabbage on ebay), or the repo is fine as a 2nd choice.

Seems like Rick's used to sell remanufactured originals in the $350 range,..if that agrees with your goals and wallet, might check them out.

Good luck!
