I have a 67 with a small block in it currently. The had a big block originally, how do I know if I have the correct frame mounts for the small block? does it matter?

Is the engine off-center one inch toward the passenger's side? If so, you have BB frame mounts.

If you have the motor out of the car....look on the top of the frame mount for the GM part number, post the number and we can tell you what you have. If the left side frame is approx 1/2" taller than the right side they are big block mounts!

Check to see if you have have the matching BB crossmember in the car. It will have a square looking recess for the mount bolts. A SB uses a crossmember with an oval looking recess.
