Summer's here, and it's time to plan a party.

We'll have some brews, some BBQ, plenty of room to park, and hopefully a pool.

Met with the pool guy today, then ran everything by the wife, so pool should be good to goo (edit: d) by the end of July.

I was all ready to put your party on my schedule until I went to mapquest.com.
From Chico, Ca to Yorkville, Il is 29 hours, 2055 miles one way.

I'm only 349 mi but it would take a long time to push my car there on the roto... :clonk:

I vote 26th 27th but don't know if we can make it. Would be cool to try though. From the looks of the poll, I am the one that has 100% of the vote since i am the only one that has voted.

If you ever get lost in the in woods in armmadillo country just follow one, he will lead you to the nearest road. You must be careful at this point to stop, the Armmadillo will be proptly ran over by a passing vehicle. After this happens most of them lay on the side of the road dead with all fours in the air. Look around and find a discarded beer bottle and memorialize him by placing it on his snout. He He He.

OK, inquiring minds want to know, so here it is... After a 30 second discussion with the wife, during which her first words were "first I've heard of this" it has been decided.

As much as I'd love to attend SCR9, and meet RamAirDave and Charlie, and many others that will be there, well labor day weekend is traditionally a time to spend having the "Last big bash of summer" with your family and friends. The high rollers will just have to get along without me.
